E-Decorating Services February 2, 2010

Times are tough and everyone is short on time. Creating the perfect environment in your home can be tough on both. Eclectic Interior Design Group has created some packages offering design services that should fit any schedule and/or budget.

Re-Purpose an Object: Did you get a “hand-me-down” buffet from grandma but it isn’t really your style? Maybe have a dresser in disrepair that you can’t decide how to use? Get a steal on a chair from the local flea market but can’t decide how to recover it? Email me photos of your object and I will help you find a way to make it new again! Design Fee: $50.00 (per object)

Design an Area: Are you having trouble with a specific area of your home? Can’t figure out how to accessorize those built-ins on either side of your fireplace? Need help deciding what art arrangement to hang above your bed? Want to create an interesting tabletop display in your entry? Send me photos of your area and I will sketch out a design solution and provide you with some specific ideas on how to create a well designed space! Design Fee: $100-$300 (depending on space)

Design a Room (Design Plan): Send me photos of a room you would like help with, along with some inspiration photos and I will email you a virtual design board with images of items that you can purchase through Eclectic or locally to help achieve a look similar to your inspiration photos. Design Fee $100-$300 (depending on space) *This service will also come with a detailed shopping list

Design a Room (Floorplan): Send me photos of a room you would like help with, along with room dimensions and the measurements of any furniture pieces that you would like to keep in the space. In return, I will send you a floorplan of the room to help you with space planning. This will aid you in knowing what pieces are appropriate for the room and will provide you with shopping guidelines so you don’t purchase furniture that is too large or out of proportion for the space!

Moe’s Original Bar B Que Expands Concept in Fairhope, AL February 1, 2010

Fairhope, Alabama – January 29, 2010 Moe’s Original Bar B Que celebrates the re-opening of Windmill Market on February 5th. As the market relaunches, Moe’s will expand its hours to add lunch on Thursdays and Fridays in addition to being open all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, Moe’s will host special events such as concerts, crawfish festivals, BBQ contests and the Friday Afternoon Club featuring happy hour drink specials starting at 5pm on Fridays. During the re-opening weekend, Moe’s presents the first Friday Afternoon Club with live music from the Eric Deaton Trio from 5-8pm on Friday, February 5th and a Mardi Gras Parade Pre-Party on Saturday, February 6th with Chris Steiner (of Mayhem String Band) and Patrick McClary (of Daybreakdown) from 5-8pm.

“As we admire the environmentally friendly strategies at Windmill Market and have had great success selling our BBQ there, we are excited to expand our partnership,” said Moe’s Daphne & Fairhope co-owner Mark White. “In keeping with the market’s green theme, Moe’s also uses recycled goods.”

Moe’s Original Bar B Que features award-winning Bama-style pulled pork, racks of ribs, and chicken smoked over hard wood served with two unique sauces plus eight to ten traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts. Moe’s Original Bar B Que also offers large party takeout orders and full service catering with delivery. In addition to Daphne and Fairhope, Moe’s has nine other locations in Denver, Ft. Atlanta’s Cellar 56 Introduces New Executive Chef January 18, 2010

Atlanta, Georgia, January 18, 2010 -The award-winning Buckhead bistro, Cellar 56, promotes Josh Carden from Sous Chef to Executive Chef. Focusing on Southern style with a kick, Carden keeps ingredients simple and not covered up by lots of seasonings to focus on the freshness of food. Born and raised in Atlanta, he attended Georgia Southern University before discovering his passion for food and graduating from Johnson and Wales in Charleston, SC. He trained in various kitchens throughout the Southeast including Longhorn Steak, Bull Street Chop House and Il Pasticcio before securing various chef positions at Marlow’s Tavern, No Mas Cantina and Capital Grille. Carden will keep the menu in tact except the addition of two new salads, Watercress Arugula with strawberries, goat cheese and marconna almonds with aged balsamic dressing and Localelli Arugula with Argentinean vinaigrette and heirloom tomatoes.

Cellar 56 brings the best and freshest ingredients to the table by working with local farms and dairies. Every palate is accommodated with small plate choices ranging from Corn Meal Oysters with Smithfield ham gravy and Flat Iron Steak with Chimi Churri to Grilled Flatbreads. The menu is broken into food categories to include Land, Sea, Garden, and Sweets, each priced $4.50 to $6.50.

Wine is a also tremendous focus for Cellar 56 with fifty-six wine choices offered. Thirty of these selections are sourced from boutique wineries on small allocation to bring Spectator rated 90+ wines to the consumer for an amazing $24 a bottle and by the glass at $3 half and $6 full. The remaining 26 wine choices are available by the bottle at various pricing.

Located in the heart of Buckhead at 56 East Andrews Drive, Cellar 56 is the perfect space for special events including wine tastings, cocktail parties, and corporate events. Steamhouse Lounge Announces 27th Annual Oysterfest January 15, 2010

Atlanta, Georgia, January 15, 2010 – The Steamhouse Lounge is pleased to present the 27th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest 2010 on Saturday, February 20th from 11am-6pm and Sunday, February 21st from 12pm-5pm. The event will take place again in Midtown on 11th Street between West Peachtree and Peachtree Walk by the Steamhouse Lounge. In addition to a million hickory grilled Louisiana Pearl Reef oysters, over 100 gallons of the award-winning Steamhouse lobster bisque, there will be plenty of Budweiser and Goombay Smash. Both days will feature musical performances with Justin, Swami Gone Bananas, Unzipt, and The Sundogs on Saturday and Miss Kitty with Menage a Trois, Olde Dog and Gary Pfaff and the Heartwells on Sunday.

“Oysterfest is always a perfect kick off to the festival season,” said festival founder and Steamhouse Lounge managing partner Sam Weyman. “We have worked out the kinks at our new Midtown location and know it will continue to be a fabulous event.”

Tickets are available at Ticket Alternative for $20 on Saturday and $10 on Sunday. A portion of proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This is an all ages event. Musical performances are subject to change without notice.
